Toilet Paper and Laundry Detergent Drive
Throughout the month of February, the Small Miracles UMW group is hosting a toilet paper and laundry detergent drive for Neighborhood Cooperative Ministries. You can drop off your donation sat any time by placing them in the labeled bins found under the Main Church Office portico and the portico at the Sanctuary.
School Break Bags
From now until Easter, you can provide providing breakfast and lunch for food-insecure schoolchildren. Pick up School Break Bags from the church and fill it with the list of non-perishable foods provided by Meals by Grace. Each bag you fill goes to child who needs a little help getting nutritious meals when they're not in school. The more bags you fill, the more children you feed!
During the Easter Season JCUMC will take up an offering for our Helping Hands Ministry. This ministry supports three local charities: Neighborhood Coop, North Fulton Coop and The Place who give assistance directly to those in need.
Girl Scout Deodorant Drive
Girl Scout Troop 14494 is partnering with The Backpack Project and JCUMC to collect deodorant throughout the month of May to help the homeless population in Georgia. The Backpack Project distributes backpacks containing many essential items, including deodorant, to homeless people in and around major cities in Georgia. Please bring in one or more sticks of deodorant in May to donate to Girl Scout Troop 14494's Deodorant Drive. Bins are located outside the church office and sanctuary entrances.
