Adopt A Family/Winter Coat Drive
Annual Adopt A Family and Winter Coat Drive
It's that time of the year again. The Adopt A Family program in cooperation with the Neighborhood Cooperative Ministries is a tradition at JCUMC. This year we have 50 families to adopt totaling 120 children. With your cooperation we will endeavor to put a smile on each child's face on Christmas Morning. If you would like to participate, please stop by our Table in the Narthex the next Three Sundays and sign up.
In addition, with winter weather on the way, we are also conducting our Winter Coat Drive for the CoOp. Our goal is to collect 200+ coats this year. If you would like to participate please click on the button below to go to the Signup Genius and sign up for as many coats as you would like. Or if you would prefer, you can make a monetary donation and we will do the shopping for you. You can drop the coats off at the church office any day up to December 5th or bring them to the Adopt A Family Table in the Narthex on Sunday Morning.

Journey Through the Bible
The Bible is made up of several different books, letters, and other material. This material was written over several centuries. But there is a storyline that ties this material together. Often, we encounter the Bible in bits and pieces. We may hear a few verses from one book in worship, study a different book in Sunday School, and learn about another part of the Bible somewhere else. In this study, we will look at the story that holds all this material together as the Bible.
