The next J.O.Y. (Just Older Youth) Luncheon will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2026, after the Traditional Worship in the Gathering Room.

Join us for a Service of Remembrance for the 25th Anniversary of September 11, 2001. Organ solos, choral anthems, prayers, scripture, and readings will guide us through the service as we remember the events of that day, retell the story of our pipe organ, and consider both our unique and shared experiences.

On September 1 at 7:00 pm, the Johns Creek zoning commission will meet to make their recommendation on that request. We would like a large group of church members present at that meeting to support the rezoning. You do not need to be a resident of the city of Johns Creek to attend this meeting.

There will be a Confirmation Parent Interest Meeting at 9:45 am on Sunday, August 16th, in the Media Center for students and parents interested in learning more about confirmation classes at JCUMC.

Our Wednesday night kid’s programming starts back on Wednesday, August 12th with dinner, children’s choirs, J-Walkers in the Worship Life Center.

Help us extend a warm welcome to our new and returning English as a Second Language students. Join us for the Welcome Party on Sunday, August 9, whether you can greet, serve refreshments, or simply spend time getting to know our students, we'd love to have you join us.

Sunday, August 2nd, at both the 9:45 & 11:00 am worship services, we will be blessing backpacks as kids and teachers prepare for another school year. Families are asked to bring their book bags and backpacks to worship as we invoke God's guidance and protection for students, teachers, and the entire school community as they embark on a new academic year.

Join your fellow church members and friends for a lively game of BINGO. Modest prizes will be awarded to winners. Light snacks and drinks are provided. There is no charge, and you do not need to pre-register; just show up and have some fun!

Summer Book Club is Back! Join us as we read a selected book and then gather for a time of discussion at the end of the month. The Book Club selection for July is Theo of Golden by Allen Levi. July book club will meet on Sunday, July 26th at 4 pm in room 207.

With a new curriculum for Children's Sunday School this fall, we are excited to host a Teacher Orientation for ANYONE who wants to learn more about teaching Sunday School. This is open to all past present and future teachers!

We are inviting all of our EPiC families to join us for an ice cream sundae party on Sunday, July 19, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. We will have ice cream treats with all the toppings and a bunch of fun games set up in the chapel. 

Mark your calendars for Friday, July 17th! We are going to have our second annual Summer Family Movie Night! Bring a blanket, some pillows and let's get comfortable in the Worship Life Center as we enjoy an evening of family friendly fun! We will have popcorn and water; if you would like to bring some snacks of your own, you are welcome to.

Two welcome receptions for Dr. Rev. Steven Usry and his wife Julie will be held on Sunday, July 12th.
