Jackie is originally from Louisville, Kentucky and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Louisville. After college graduation, Jackie and her husband, Patrick, relocated to the Atlanta area and ultimately settled in Gwinnett County. After working in the corporate world for several years, Jackie left her career in retirement plan consulting and training to become a stay-at-home mom. She also helped her husband launch their family-owned trucking business. While her daughter, Riley, attended church preschool, Jackie discovered her passion for Christ centered early childhood education, and she started teaching preschool at Duluth First UMC. Then a few years after the untimely passing of her husband, she became the Director at Sugarloaf UMC Weekday Preschool where she served for four years before joining the team at Johns Creek UMC. She has over 14 years of experience serving in preschool ministry. Jackie feels called into preschool ministry to partner with parents and shepherd them through the early childhood education journey. She seeks to sow seeds of love and the promise of the Gospel story into the lives of children and their families. Jackie resides in Suwanee while Riley is attending University of Georgia seeking her Master’s in Public Administration. Jackie enjoys reading, practicing yoga, small group Bible study, and cheering on her University of Louisville Cardinals and Georgia Bulldogs!
