Rev. Dr. Brandon Harris

Brandon Harris is an elder and a full member of the North Alabama Conference, who recently served as pastor of Rainbow City First UMC in Rainbow City, Alabama. Previously he served for six years as pastor of Avondale UMC in Birmingham, successfully leading the church through a six-year period of revitalization. Brandon began his ministry in 2004 in Anniston, Alabama, serving Anniston First UMC as associate pastor.

Brandon is a graduate of Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, D.C., where he received a Doctorate of Ministry in Church Leadership. Brandon also holds a Masters of Divinity from Duke University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Auburn University where he majored in Management Information Systems. Brandon is a native of Alexander City, and grew up in Sylacauga, both in Alabama. He is married to Jennifer, a pediatric audiologist for Children’s Health System of Alabama. They have have two children, Parks (10) and Ava (7).
