Next Outdoor Worship Day | August 23 at 9 AM
We will worship together outside on the soccer fields at 9 am!
Register above to help us prepare and to select your setup preferences. We can provide chairs for your part or you can bring your own chairs, tents, and umbrellas. There will also be several tents set up if you're unable to provide your own shade.
Mask Policy: The soccer field is marked so that each party will be 10 feet apart from one another. We ask that you wear your mask while walking around the worship space, but it may be removed once you've settled into your space. All volunteers, speakers, and performers will also be required to wear masks and keep their distance (those who live in the same household may stand closer together).
We will return to online worship the following week. Return to this page and check your e-mail for updates on an official worship schedule.
Adult Sunday School - Start Date To Be Determined
We also want to return to in-person Sunday school as soon as we are able. The current plan is to have half of the classes meet before worship, and half meet after worship. This will allow for greater crowd control and improved air quality. These classes will gather in the Family Life Center, Gathering Room, Sanctuary, Chapel, Narthex, and the larger Sunday School rooms. If you are an Adult Sunday school leader, be on the lookout for an email asking for your class's preference.
QUESTIONS ABOUT OUTDOOR WORSHIP:
Why can't we worship inside?
While the church hasn't completely ruled out this possibility for worship in the future, the church is starting outside because the service can accommodate more people and The air quality is also much safer in terms of spreading COVID 19. You will still have access to the bathrooms inside.
Will I still need to pre-register?
Yes. We want to make sure we provide enough amenities for all who are coming. Pre-registering will also provide the church with contact information in case an attendee informs us that they have tested positive for COVID-19. If this were to happen, we would want to inform all who attended worship so that they can self-quarantine or get tested (the identity of the person infected would not be released).
What if it rains?
We won't let a small drizzle get in the way, but in the event of heavy rain or lightning, we invite you to park on campus to listen to the sermon through your radio by tuning it to 97.5 FM.
Will I need to wear my Sunday Best?
We expect you to dress for the weather, shorts and hats are completely acceptable for outdoor worship!
What should I bring?
Bring your bible, some water, shade, and your chairs, blankets, or a tent if you'd like. Also, be sure to print out your Order of Worship, or bring an electronic device (like a phone or I-Pad) to view it online.
Can I volunteer to help with this service?
Absolutely! We know you're eager to help and interact after being at home for so long. Contact Nathan Frank to find out how you can help: email@example.com
