JCUMC Fall 2023 Soccer

Dear Coaches, Parents, and Players:

Johns Creek United Methodist Church announces that Fall soccer registration will open July 13, 2023!

We are excited for the fall season to work on fundamentals, have fun, be safe and enjoy the game we all love.

Registration will close on August 13, 2023, in order to create rosters and work on a game schedule.

Please remember to request your coach from last year if you would like to stay on that same team and also specify 3 practice day preferences for your convenience.

Program Details:

Soccer is offered to boys and girls ages 4 through 11 years old.

This program is a 1 practice/1 game per week setup. There are typically 9 practices and 8 games scheduled

All leagues are gender specific.

Pricing for the league is tiered by age group.

Each player is required to have a program uniform. If you need a new uniform (2 shirts / short / sock) they are available for purchase during registration at a cost of $40.00. There will be two jerseys of better quality and style.

We plan on beginning practice the week of August 21, 2023. We are targeting our first game day being Saturday, September 9, 2023. We plan on an eight (8) week schedule, completing by the middle of November.

Refund Policy: If requested by a family, we will refund 100% prior to August 13, 2023. We will offer 50% refund to the end of the fourth week of game play. There will be no refund offered after the fourth week of game play.

Cancellation Policy: If we have to cancel the season based on church / state / county guidelines we will offer a refund prorated based on the number of weeks completed. Example: If we are forced to cancel the season after the second weekend of games, the player would be refunded 6/9 (2/3) of the season. One week of practice and two weeks of game play were completed.

What makes us special?
All of our players will play at least 50% of the game as this is a developmental league based off fun and learning.
We stress the importance of learning both offense and defense and players will have the opportunity to rotate in games throughout the season.
Giving opportunities – We will collect old soccer cleats, uniforms and soccer balls and will be donating to less fortunate local soccer programs.
Our coaches are volunteers from our community. We provide a coaching clinic at the beginning of the season along with a coaching curriculum with weekly direction.
