Johns Creek United Methodist Church supports UMCOR by participating in special offerings and hosting bucket-filling events every year. We also encourage those who are interested to become an ERT volunteer.
Early Response Teams (ERT) are deployed by United Methodist Volunteers in Mission (UMVIM) in times of need. These training programs and many more enable United Methodists in the US to bring hope to those who are suffering. Learn More Here
Responding to Hurricane Dorian
Currently, UMCOR takes monetary contributions. Check back regularly to learn how to serve those affected buy hurricanes and upcoming storms; 100% of the money donated to UMCOR (United Methodist Committee On Relief) goes to disaster response. Checks can be made out to Johns Creek United Methodist Church, referencing UMCOR in the tag line, or online at www.johnscreekumc.org/giving and choosing “UMCOR” as the Fund. The money will be split between the international and U.S. funds unless you indicate a preference.
