JCUMC is teaming up with Action Ministries throughout the summer to support Smart Lunch, Smart Kid, a program which provides meals to kids in need. We will again be serving the Peachtree Village mobile home community in Buford. We are looking for groups of volunteers to help prepare, deliver, and serve meals. Rise Against Hunger is a meal packaging program that harnesses the passion of local volunteers, and strives to make a global impact on hunger by building resilience, self-sufficiency, and empowerment.

Johns Creek UMC has a couple of strong partnerships in both Guatemala and The Bahamas. These trips offer opportunities to connect with people far outside of our community through working hard, worshiping, and spending time together.

What is UMCOR? The United Methodist Committee on Relief provides communities with assistance and supplies after disaster strikes. Johns Creek UMC has participated in the past by donating money and putting together hygeine buckets.
