JCUMC is blessed to have many caring and dedicated parents and volunteers who support the youth ministry by sharing their time, energy, and enthusiasm. We welcome and encourage the participation of all parents and other adults interested in volunteering! If you are interested in volunteering with the youth program, please contact Rev. Brittany Sanders.
Because we are committed to the safety and spiritual growth of all students, we follow guidelines and procedures in accordance with JCUMC Safe Sanctuaries policy. All youth parents and volunteers must attend a brief training session to become Safe Sanctuary trained. A background check must be completed and a refresher course will be required every two years. Please contact the church office for more details and scheduled training dates.
YOUTH MINISTRY OPEN HOUSE
Each August, our Youth Ministry hosts an open house. Parents and students are invited to learn about the Youth Ministry, hear about events planned for the school year, and parent volunteer opportunities that are available. Parents who are unable to attend orientation are still welcome to volunteer at any time during the year.
