This February: Created By God

Each year Johns Creek UMC Children’s Ministry offers the class “Created by God.” This is a Biblically-based human sexuality program designed for 5th and 6th graders and their parents. The course will be offered twice in 2019: Session 1 - February 1-2 and Session 2 - February 22-23.

Both sessions will be taught by Reverend Lynne Smith. The content of the program includes communication skills, self-esteem exercises, basic human growth, sexual development and reproduction in a framework of positive relationships. It is a Christian approach to human sexuality. The class has been extremely well received through the years and now you are invited to register your child for this informative program.

Registration is open for both church members and non-members. Your child is welcome to invite a friend to help them both feel more comfortable. Class size is limited to 25 students on a first-come-first-serve basis. The registration fee is $65 to help cover cost of books, supplies, pizza lunch, and our wonderful facilitator. If you have any questions you can contact our Children’s Director Kirby Darden at 770-497-8215 or email
