Christmas Eve Services
In light of the rising COVID cases in Johns Creek, we will now only have outdoor and online worship services on Christmas Eve. Continue to check this page throughout the season as times and locations of these services may change based on the amount of COVID cases in the area.
Your Safety Comes First
All of our services have been carefully organized to ensure the safest experience for all who come to worship here. All services will only be filled up to 15% capacity to allow plenty of distance between families, and we require all who attend to follow the requirements listed below. Masks will still be required outside while moving around the worship area.
Requirements for In-Person Worship
WE WANT TO SAFELY PROVIDE WORSHIP TO AS MANY FAMILIES AS WE CAN. SO AS EACH SERVICE FILLS UP, WE WILL ADD ANOTHER SERVICE! THIS IS WHY WE MUST REQUIRE REGISTRATION FOR ALL WHO PLAN TO ATTEND.
YOU MUST REGISTER TO ATTEND ONE OF THESE SERVICES, INCLUDING THOSE WHO WERE REGISTERED FOR AN INDOOR SERVICE
Masks must be worn when walking around, but may be removed once you've taken you seat for the service
Parties will be sat at least six feet apart in the worship space
Please partake in social distancing while gathering around the animals
We ask that only one family enter the restrooms at a time
Outdoor Nativity Services
This is the perfect service for introducing your family to the story of Jesus' birth! Grab a camel selfie and pet the rest of our nativity animals before enjoying a service of carols, candle light, and the story of how Christmas came to be from your car or parking space. This service will be held by the Church Office Entrance. You can listen to the message through our speakers or through the radio by tuning in to 97.5.
If you were previously signed up for an indoor service, you must sign up again at one of the times below.
TIMES: 2:30 PM | 4:00 PM | 6:00 PM | 7:30 PM
Registration is required for these services.
Remote Worship Service
Not ready to worship in person yet? Pick a time that's best for your family, and set up your screen to watch a remote service from home. This service will include traditional carols and a short Christmas Message.
A Remote Service will be available beginning at 6 am on Christmas Eve
447 Christmas Wishes Granted!
Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! Once again God's foot soldiers at JCUMC came thru with flying colors. We surpassed our Merry Market Goal! With everyone's participation, we have provided 1789 gifts to give 447 children a very Merry Christmas during these difficult Pandemic Times. Linda and I could not be more proud to be a member of JCUMC serving along with each of you. I would like to give a special thanks to Tammi and Traci Consolini who lead the whole community-wide Merry Market program for the Neighborhood Cooperative Ministries. In total they hope to provide Christmas for 700 families in the community. What a wonderful way to get into the Christmas Spirit. And remember If Not Us, Who?
There may be a few of you who are still trying to get your gifts delivered. If you need any assistance, please contact Linda and Wally Haislip at firstname.lastname@example.org or 678 480 1415.
Children's Drive-Thru Christmas Celebration
On December 13, 3pm-5pm, your family can enjoy a Covid-safe Christmas event at JCUMC! You will receive a Christmas goodie bag for your family and you will get an opportunity to see Santa! Please click the button below to sign up.
It's a good idea to help prepare your kids for the event since it's so different from a typical visit with Santa on other years. As you write letters or draw pictures for Santa, remind kids that Santa needs help to stay healthy this year. Instad of sitting in his lap and getting close, you will just drive by and wave hello and drop off your letters.
You are welcome to invite your friends and neighbors, and please encourage them to register too.
