Clergy Representative: Rev. Christopher Carlton Service is the concept that comes closest to the heart of the Christian life. Whether it is performing the most simple acts of charity or organizing complex mission trips, self-giving love should be evident in the life of every believer. The Serve are of ministries provides opportunities for individuals and groups to give of their time, talent, and resources in ways that reflect the love that God has shown to each of us. From building homes for Habitat for Humanity to raising funds for the local Co-Ops, the Serve area's main goal is to see that life is made better by the judicious use of the unique gifts that God has given to each and every person. We live by the motto, "before you can feed someone's spirit, it is wise to feed their body." Often, the words you speak can only be heard when the rumbling of the stomach or the chattering of teeth has ceased. The ministry of Johns Creek Methodist Church is to the whole person. The Serve area is where this ideal is put into practice. If you are interested in any of the ministries of the Serve area please contact Rev. Christopher Carlton.
