Soccer League Format

Pre-k(Under 5) and Kindergarten(Under 6)
Plays 3 v 3
No Goalie
Playing size of field is 25 X 20 (yards)

1st Grade(Under 7) and 2nd Grade(Under 8)
Plays 6 v 6(was 8 v 8)
6 players per side includes 1 goalie
Playing size of field is 40 X 30 (yards)

3rd Grade(Under 9) and 4th Grade(Under 10)
Plays 6 v 6(was 8 v 8)
6 players per side includes 1 goalie
Playing size of field is 50 X 40 (yards)

5th and 6th Grade(Under 12)
Plays 8 v 8(was 11 v 11)
8 players per side includes 1 goalie
Playing size of field is 70 X 50 (yards)

7th and 8th Grade(Under 14)
Plays 11 v 11
11 players per side includes 1 goalie
Playing size of field is 100 X 50

9th and 10th Grade(Under 16—Girls Only)

Pre-Academy Program (If you are interest in this program when registering please note the program on Blue Sombrero will say Advanced Training)

The Pre-Academy program is new to Johns Creek UMC and has been made available as a result of a partnership with the Concorde Fire Soccer Club. (Concordefire.com)  The Pre-Academy program is specific to 1st grade(Under 7), 2nd grade(Under 8), 3rd grade(Under 9), and 4th Grade(Under 10).  This program is designed for those families who wish to, in conjunction with their regularly scheduled recreation practice and game, enroll in an additional practice session led by a professional Concorde Fire Soccer coach.  The practice would take place at the church one time per week with a minimum of 8 practices.  The cost of this additional training is $150 and can be registered for online during the open registration periods beginning on July 1st and January 1st.  The Pre-Academy program is designed specifically for those players who want to get ready and prepare for an Academy level program when they reach U9 level.

Advanced Training Program

The Advanced Training Program is new to Johns Creek UMC and is specific to players in Under 12, Under 14, or Under 16 age groups.  The program is designed for those families who wish to, in conjunction with their regularly scheduled recreational practice and game, enroll in an additional practice session led by a professional Concorde Fire Soccer coach.  The practice would take place at the church one time per week with a minimum of 8 practices.  The cost of this additional training is $150 and can be registered for online during the open registration periods beginning on July 1st and January 1st.

• 8 games per season
• Players are required to provide their own cleats.
• Separate teams for boys and girls
• One weekday practice in the evening @ 5:00 or 6:00 (coach’s discretion)
• Games on Saturdays; times vary – 8:00am-4:45pm

Cost for ALL Leagues:

Registration: Online at johnscreekumc.org Program Fee: $105
Manual Registrion $110 (Registering at the Church Rec Office)
Uniform Price: $30

All registrants are REQUIRED to have a full uniform at all times. Players not having a full uniform may be kept from participating on game days. The Full Uniform fee is $30. The full uniform includes jersey, 1 pair of shorts, 1 pair of socks. Pieces of the uniform set may be purchased at registration according to the player’s needs.

Length of Season

Season consists of 8-10 weekday practices plus 8 games. All games are played on Saturday.
