Care Ministries at Johns Creek UMC

Prayer Ministry

Prayer is one of the truest signs of disciples of Jesus Christ. The prayer ministry consists of members of JCUMC who have committed themselves to praying for those on our weekly prayer list. They send notes to those who are home bound, in the hospital, grieving, or having difficulty in many other ways. If you’d like to become a member of the prayer team, please contact us at Prayer@JohnsCreekUMC.org.

Prayer Shawl

This ministry is made up of a collection of members gifted at knitting and crocheting. The shawls are delivered to the grieving, hospitalized, and home bound by the clergy of JCUMC. The group meets from August through May on Wednesdays at 6:00pm in Room 201 of the Education Building and the second Wednesdays of each month at 1:00pm in Room 201 of the Education Building. For more information you may contact them at PrayerShawl@JohnsCreekUMC.org.

Meals that Heal

This ministry is for members of Johns Creek UMC who are experiencing the loss of a core member of the household, are welcoming home a new baby, or are home bound after surgery. It offers meals provided by the members of JCUMC. If you find yourself in one of the positions above, please contact the team members at MealsThatHeal@JohnsCreekUMC.org.

Fit Camp

This care ministry is made up of a collection of JCUMC members and a personal fitness trainer. The group meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:30am on the 3rd Floor of the Education Building. For more information, please contact the group at FitCamp@JohnsCreekUMC.org.
